AI training for employees
AI training for employees works best on the work your team already does. Each week your team and I build on one of your real processes, and one person becomes your AI champion, who runs and extends what we build. The training is part of my retainer, not a separate course.
Starts with a 2-week Assessment. Retainer from $5K/month.
In plain terms
- What they learn on
- One of your own processes, not sample tasks.
- The rhythm
- One working session a week. We build a part of the system together.
- Who runs it after
- Your AI champion, one person on your team who learns to run and extend what we build.
- What you keep
- Every tool, account and document. I build it all in your accounts.
- How you pay
- It is part of the retainer, from $5K a month.
A course, or training on your own work
A course shows what a tool can do. After it, your team has to apply it to their own job, alone.
| Compare | Course or workshop | Training on your own work (me) |
|---|---|---|
| What you practise on | Sample tasks and demo data | One of your real processes |
| What you have at the end | Notes and new ideas | A working system in your own accounts |
| How long | A day or a few sessions | A weekly session, for at least 3 months |
| Who teaches | A trainer who leaves after the course | The person who builds the system with you |
| Who runs it after | Each person, alone | Your AI champion |
Tools change every few months. A process written down step by step still works when the tool changes. That is the skill I train.
How a weekly working session runs
One session, one process. The people who do the work join for their part.
01
We pick the next process from the plan.
The Assessment ranks your processes by payoff. We always take the next one on the list.
02
We map how the work runs today.
The people who do the work walk me through it. I draw the steps as a simple picture, so everyone sees the same thing.
03
We write the rules down.
We write your team's know-how as step-by-step instructions. They keep the process in one place and help the AI do the task the same way.
04
We build it together, in your accounts.
I build the first part while your AI champion watches. Then the champion does the next part, and I help.
05
The champion leaves with one task.
Each session ends with a small task to do alone. The next session starts with it.
Your team learns as we build
Every retainer trains one person on your team to be your AI champion. Each week we take one of your real processes, and they build it with me. By the end, your team runs it without me.
“Dani, I could hug you. I could hug you if you were over here.”
“I'm hooked now… Can we do this again tomorrow?”
“You've been very good about staying macro with me, staying strategic with me, being clear on expectations first.”
“I felt like I had a real partner in the process and technologically and otherwise. His execution was awesome.”
“We see a lot of promises and then when we actually go to a program it doesn't deliver that much, but that's not the case here.”
“In one hour I… it felt like… five years of knowledge in my brain.”
“You have been a great partner in that thinking. You've been very good about staying macro with me, staying strategic with me, being clear on expectations first before we throw ourselves into the project. So I found the right partner that way. I'm really happy about that.”
Alzay CalhounB2B Business Consultant. Strategy client.“I want to thank Dani. I couldn't have done it without him. The process was wonderful. I felt like I had a real partner in the process and technologically and otherwise. His execution was awesome. I recommend Dani without reservation.”
Uri SchneiderCo Director, Speech Therapist, Performance Coach, Podcaster. Client.“Dani's a no nonsense freelancer that bridges business acumen with design expertise. In working with Dani, he goes above and beyond my expectations, and takes the time to understand how our work fits into my overall business. If you need more than pixels and a go to resource for building your digital presence, I highly recommend Dani.”
Matthew MottolaFounder of Venture L, Human Cloud Author and Forbes Contributor. Design client.“Dani was an absolute dream to work with. He had loads of ideas to bring a refreshing and emotive feel to our branded video. The project was so intricate and he simplified it with ease. From the first week, the goal is that your team runs it without me.
Your champion does not need to code. They need to know the work well and want to learn. Most of what they learn is how to write a process down step by step, so that an AI tool can follow it.
When the retainer ends, you get an exit pack: documentation, access to every account and a handover session. Then the champion takes over.

See how it worksWhat the training costs
The training on this page is part of the retainer, together with the builds.
2 weeks. A map of your tools and data, ranked opportunities, quick wins your team can do alone, and a 3-month plan.
Credited in full to your first month if the retainer starts within 30 days. Money back if you're not happy.
A weekly working session with your team. A monthly check-in with leadership. New builds from the plan every month. Replies within one business day.
3-month minimum, then month to month with 30 days' notice.
Monitoring, fixes, tool and model updates, and one small improvement a month. Replies within 2 business days.
Move back to the retainer any time you want new builds.
The Assessment shows which processes to train on first. The retainer has a 3-month minimum, then 30 days' notice, because building and training take a few months to pay off.
You pay AI tools and software directly, in your own accounts, with no markup.
When this is not the right fit
01
You want a one-day workshop for a large group.
A course provider fits that better. I train inside one team, on its own processes.
02
Nobody can spend a weekly session to learn.
Without an AI champion, the work stays with an outsider.
03
The process is not ready for AI yet.
Sometimes the Assessment shows that. If so, I tell you, and the plan is yours to keep.
Questions
What is the best way to upskill employees in AI?
Train them on their own work. A course shows what a tool can do, but your team still has to apply it to their job. When we build on one of your real processes, your team learns the tool and gets a working system at the same time.
How long does AI training for a team take?
With me, at least 3 months, because the retainer has a 3-month minimum. Each week we work on one process. After that it runs month to month, with 30 days' notice, until your AI champion can take over.
Do our employees need to know how to code?
No. Your AI champion needs to know the work well and want to learn. Most of the training is about writing a process down step by step, so that an AI tool can follow it.
Can you run a one-off AI workshop for our staff?
The training on this page happens in the weekly working session of the retainer, on your own processes. If you want a one-day course for a large group, a course provider fits that better.
What is an AI champion?
The person on your team I train to run and extend what we build. When the retainer ends, the champion takes over, so the work does not depend on an outsider.
Which AI tools will my team learn?
The ones that fit your processes. The Assessment maps the tools and data you already have. I build in your accounts and follow your security rules, and your IT team can see everything I build.
Do you coach individuals too?
Yes, in a separate program. The AI Development Accelerator is private 1:1 coaching for founders, builders and operators who use AI coding tools. It runs over four working sessions.
