AI automation consultant

An AI automation consultant finds the repeated work in your company that AI can do well, builds the automations, and trains your team to run them. I build everything in your own accounts, and I tell you which work is not worth automating.

Starts with a 2-week Assessment. Retainer from $5K/month.

Which work is worth automating

Not every task should go to AI. I look for five signs before I build anything.

  • It happens every week, or every day.

A task you do twice a year does not pay back the build.

  • It eats your team's time.

For example research, copying data between tools, first drafts and follow-ups.

  • The inputs already live in your tools.

Your CRM, your inbox, your ERP or LinkedIn. AI works from what you already have.

  • A mistake is easy to catch before it goes out.

AI prepares the work. A person checks it where an error would cost you.

  • Someone on the team will run it.

Every build needs an owner on your side.

Some work happens too rarely, changes every month, or needs a fresh judgment call each time. If so, I tell you. I won't build something nobody uses.

What the automations did

Robert Buhler, now CEO of Crane Stationery, got his best business from relationships. Nobody can track hundreds of contacts by hand. So I built a system that watches his LinkedIn network, researches each signal and sends a personal printed note through his own ERP. It returned 300–400% on the investment.

Brief

Send Maria a note this week. Why now: new role, and a second warehouse to supply. What to say: congratulations on the promotion. Ask how the Ohio site is going. Next step: the card is ready for your signature. It goes to her office on Thursday.

More results, clients not named

  • 80–85% less time on cold email, and 3× the replies, for a web agency.
  • 90–95% less research time with an AI research agent.

How I build an automation

For more than 7 years I have built systems for businesses. First Notion workspaces, then automations that connected their tools, now AI that does the work itself. The method has stayed the same.

  1. 01

Start with the work, not the tool.

I watch how the task runs today and where the hours go. Then I pick the tool.

  2. 02

Give each automation one job, a limit and a log.

I run my own business on AI agents this way. The one that drafts my LinkedIn posts never posts them. The one that drafts my replies sends nothing until I approve the exact text.

  3. 03

Decide which step stays with a person.

Usually it is the step that goes out under your name. AI can prepare everything before it.

  4. 04

    Build it in your accounts.

You pay for the tools directly, with no markup. Your IT team can see everything I build.

  5. 05

Train the person who will run it.

One person on your team becomes your AI champion. From the first week, the goal is that your team runs it without me.

AI automation consultant or agency?

An agency builds what you ask for. I also help you decide what to build, and I train your team to run it.

How the work runs

Every client follows the same four steps.

    2 weeks

I map your tools, your data and the work that eats your team's time. You get a ranked list of where AI pays off, and a 3-month plan. Not happy with it? I refund you in full.

    Coaching

    Every week

A working session with your team. One person becomes your AI champion and learns to run what we build.

Questions

What does an AI automation consultant do?

They find the repeated work in your company that AI can do well, build the automations, and train your team to run them. A good one also tells you which work is not worth automating.

What is the difference between an AI automation consultant and an AI automation agency?

An agency usually builds one project to your spec and charges per project. I help you pick the work first, build from a ranked plan every month, and train someone on your team to run it.

Which processes should we automate first?

Start with work that repeats every week, eats your team's time and follows clear rules. The Assessment ranks your options, biggest payoff first.

How much does AI automation consulting cost?

With me, it starts with a 2-week Assessment for $2,500. The retainer starts at $5K/month, with a 3-month minimum. You pay software and AI usage on top, directly in your own accounts.

Our data is a mess. Can we still automate?

Yes. That is normal. The Assessment maps what you have and ranks the work that fits it. Data cleanup is often part of the first builds.

Who owns the automations?

You do. I build everything in your own accounts. When the work ends, you get documentation, access to every account and a handover session.
